What do you think of people calling you 'babe' or 'baby'?

kind of a pointless topic. but anyway, some people hate it, some love it, and some don't give a fuck. :p

what do you think of it?

i don't mind it but i'm not too big a fan of it. i think it's kind of cheesy and i prefer other cute nicknames. ^^,

Babe, okay. Baby, no.

If someone called me babe or baby I would possibly slap them in the face.
I just hate those terms.

cody calls me babe all the time & it's okay i guess but when you get called it like constantly, it kind of loses it's meaning. just like being called beautiful. it's not the same.

I dunno. It makes me cringe terribly. Also, you're being degraded to two overused words in my own opinion. Think of the amount of times that person may have used those phrases on someone else. I would rather someone be creative enough NOT to use something as shitty and general as babe and baby.

But my boyfriend and I call each other 'bby' because of this couple we kind of made lulz at. But yeah. No. xD

considering no one's ever called me 'baby', I can't say. But I hate being called babe by a girl, which has happened a few times.

I laughed when someone first called me it. I don't mind it. : P

This kid in 6th grade called me "baby" it once, but he was like... THE kid in the class that was more of a nerd than me, so I didn't really care. However, I tend to kind of think of those terms as degrading, particularly "baby". So no, I wouldn't like that at all. I'm not completely sure I'd mind if it was my boyfriend, but I'd really prefer not to have a pet name to begin with. I think Elizabeth or Liz is just fine.
