Massachusetts is in New England, and seeing you live in England, we have a lot of similar town names.

yeah it gets hoot here. Like 30- 40 C in F its like 100 - 120 :D AND I LIVE IN CANADA!!! Not America. :p no hurricanes huuree. Or anything but rain and snow :D

Here in the lovely North America (that's like if you stuck Canada and the US together and called them North America, which SOMETIMES WE DO (Mexico is sometimes also part of that, but because they don't do siding as much, I'mma pretend not)) most people do have siding on their houses. Also, pretty much everyone that doesn't live in coastal Florida, New Orleans, California, Georgia, Texas, and maybe South Carolina NEVER have to deal with a hurricane. Also, many people who have siding have vinyl siding instead of wood. If they do have wood, it's probably treated to be flame resistant.

Most people here have vinyl siding, and brick houses are kind of expensive. Also, with those, you have to repair the grout all the time, and that's bull. So yeah.

Well, I've lived in a brick house all my life.. and not once have we had to repair grouting.. or has anyone else at that :P
Although the house i live in now is brick, it's plastered or something... its 100 years old, if i have a picture lying around i'll upload it :]

Yeah, those houses are lush... and when i said brick, i didn't mean mansions... this is the average house in england:

houses don't really change style or shape here, they're just larger.. but then of course you get older houses and newer ones, which are bound to differ. But the problem we have in my county atm, is that nice houses with lots of land are being bought, pulled down, and they build like five houses on the land instead.
